The kettle is fitted with a standard UK plug and and comes in two parts, the kettle and the base unit. The kettle can turn 360 degrees around the base unit and can be fully removed from the base. The base has a ridge to allow the power cable to be fed through so that the kettle sits straight. The kettle has a 1.5 litre capacity and 3kW power. It was time to invest in a new kettle and toaster, after quite some consideration I decided to go for the Morphy Richards traditional kettles from their accents range. I wanted a trendy kettle but which was still quite traditional and I think Morphy Richards have done it perfectly. I went for the black version of the kettle and I was very pleased to see that the kettle doesn't look jet black as it has a metallic finish to it. It fits in perfectly in my new kitchen.
