drunkenclaire Morphy Richards 43064: ... this kettle for 2 years now and was bought it as a moving in present by my mum to match the morphy richards 2 slice toaster i think it is a really cute and fashionable look, a must have for anyone who wants their kitchen a bit different. it boils water much much quicker than my old kettle, and unlike most kettles i have had in the past, this one does not leak at all, even with being used on a daily basis for ov...

... kettle is very attractive and looks great in the kitchen when new, unfortunately it has not under gone very thorough testing by it s manufacturers. The black paint on the stainless steel body starts to come off where the top meets the lid and the lid jams after about 6 months use. In the process of jaming, the back hindge lifts so when you pour boiling water out of the kettle steam escapes from around the lid to body joint and you can scald yourself, at least until you get wise to the problem. Has a two year guarantee, but who want s to go to the trouble and cost of sending it back. My first one lasted 9 months, the replacement 6 months, at £30+ an expensive mist...

I was searching for a new kettle that offered good value for money, came from a brand I knew and trusted, was sold with a guarantee of some sort and, last but by no means least, would be aesthetically pleasing. Fortunately, my local branch of TJ Hughes offered a myriad of potential new kettles and I was soon walking out clutching my new Bosse kettle from Morphy Richards which I purchased for the pricely sum of £20. The Bosse kettle is available from Amazon.co.uk for £27.50 at the time of writing but a bit of research should enable you to source it elsewhere for less. As I have already mentioned, the technicalities of kettles ar...

... Richards - Accents Kettle When we recently replaced our kitchen we spent an awfully long time concentrating on the major things; layout, units and big ticket appliances. Once these were all chosen and installation was underway we turned our attention to the smaller details, including replacing some of our aging smaller appliances. As we d spent a couple of years preparing for the new kitchen we d let some things go beyond their natural life and put up with other things that we were no longer happy with so that we could start completely afresh. One of the items we were no longer happy with was our old Dualit kettle. Only four years old it was showing significant si...
