The Filtermaster kettle as it is known carries extra numerals of "III" to emphasize the latest model and the fact that it has a rapid boiling time thanks to the 3kw maximum powered element. Just like the model tag "Turbosteam" which can be remembered and attributed to Morphy Richards range of steam irons, the name "Filtermaster" has been around on Morphy Richards kettles since the 1980 s. Morphy Richards Kettle 43010 ... bought our first Morphy Richards 43010 kettle in January 04 purely for the design of it despite the relatively high price. Around 18 months later it started to leak from the bottom of the display window. John Lewis replaced it without a problem in August 05. Now the replacement kettle has gone the same way leaking at exactly the same place. This time unfortunately it is out of guarantee , and having searched the internet it no longer seems to be available. It s not even on the Morphy Richards website. Perhaps they now recognise there is a problem? Great looking but definitely sub standard which is disappointing for a top of the range item and even more disappoin... Morphy Richards 43693 ... Morphy Richards 43693 is a cordless 3.1kw electrical kettle for boiling or heating water. We bought ours a few months ago the same time I bought the matching toaster. The kettle has 1.5 litre capacity which is well enough for lots of cuppa teas. The Morphy Richards 43693 has a concealed element which prevents scales from building up. The kettle comes in a big white box with the three page manual enclosed. I am sure a lot of people are familiar with the Morphy Richards brand.
