... heavy to lift. It holds a lot of water, plently for lots of cups of tea! It only takes a minute or two to boil so is not super fast like some kettles on the market at the moment but no stupidly slow either! It doesn't do anything fancy like change colour, sing etc as it just a normal kettle, but i would say it would be near top of the range as far as normal kettles go! If you thinking of buying this kettle i would check Tesco direct as this is where i got mine from and it was very reasonably priced. All in all a goo...more

I bought this kettle recently along with the matching toaster. They look great together. The kettle is metal and so not a piece of plastic in sight! this definately adds to the stylish design. However when full with water this can make the kettle heavy to lift. It holds a lot of water, plently for lots of cups of tea! It only takes a minute or two to boil so is not super fast like some kettles on the market at the moment but no stupidly slow either! It doesn't do anything fancy like change colour, sing etc as it just a normal kettle, but i would say it would be near top of the range as far as normal kettles go!
