I own a Prestige Kettle - in fact I have actually owned 2 Prestige kettles.
Unfortunately I do not rate this product very high - all down to two problems.

This kettle works fantastically well. It boils quickly and let's face it they are an eye catcher if you are in to the slight modern look.
The Prestige range is naturally over priced for what it is/are (a kettle or a toaster!?)

The main issue with these kettles are the chip - they chip like crazy! I have never known paint or coating - what ever it is that Prestige place on this product, to chip so flipping easily. Such a shame as they are lovely kettles and it does make a lovely change to having a standard plastic kettle or a stainless steel kettle. I have gone through two of these kettles purely for this fault - at first I thought maybe I had excess cleaning product on the cloth is was every now and again wiping the kettle down with (small amount of washing up liquid), however on my second kettle I was very careful with how I cleaner this product - resorting to a dry tea towel and giving it a gentle wipe down..No such look - within 3 - 4 weeks it was slowly starting to show signs of chipping away..

This is not what you expect from a kettle that you will pay thought the nose for in most stores..

The second major issue is the price - if this kettle did not chip it would be a little luxury to have a beautiful Prestige kettle on show! However it does chip and the kettle is not worth any more than £15 as you would need to replace it every 4/5 weeks!
