The mother of all kettles !!!!

I have also written a review for the toaster that matches this kettle. I bought this kettle 6 years ago along with the toaster and this was without doubt the better buy out of the two.

It is still going strong now, I have descaled this kettle roughly every two-three months using the liquid descalers. I put the lid and the limescale filter in the kettle once it has boiled as limescale does build up on the lid in places and this is a quick way of getting it looking like new again.
The outside stays cool and when you pick the kettle up it automatically turns itself off. A hidden element and the fact it is designed by Porsche makes this a real special kettle.

The brushed metal on the outside means it cleans up a treat, it still looks brand new when I have cleaned it with a scourer and a bit of kitchen cleaner, the only part that is looking its age is the top of the handle near the lid where small lime scale deposits have built up over the years, I can't remember exactly how much we paid but I think it was around the £70 mark, my parents have had about 4 kettles in the time that I have had mine and we do use it every day without fail. It looks so stylish as well.

It was definately worth the money and I would not hesitate to recommend this kettle, i would definately look at buying another one when this does end up in the bin, although at the moment it shows no sign of giving up !!!
