Our Tefal Delfina Gold kettle has lasted six years and it is still going strong. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone especially those it hard water areas. It has a gold plated element and so even though we are in a hard water area we have never had to descale it. It now has a small amount of scale but that is good given that many kettles wouldn't last this long even with regular descaling. There is a clear window on the side so you can see the water level.
