With the amount of tea that we drink in our house, a good kettle is essential. The Tefal Delfina is a great kettle that is reliable and durable and does what is expected.

It has a 1.5 litre capacity and there is a window to check the water level. The kettle is cordless and sits on an oval base, however I have found that at times the kettle tends to stick to the base.

There is a hinged lid, which lifts to allow easily filling and locks back into place. There is non slip feet on the base, which work well as it doesn't slide around the worktop.

The spout on the kettle is quite wide, which can sometimes be a negative; if you grab a full kettle quickly on occasion the boiling water spills out the spout.

The on/off switch is integrated into the handle, which is quite thick for good grip.

It feels like the kettle takes a while to boil, but I'm not sure if that is specific to this model, as they say a watched kettle...

Overall it's a great kettle that performs well and is reasonably priced.
