Advantages: Cheap but it works

This is what I want from a kettle: plug it in, put the water in, turn it on, wait for a little while, and now the water is hot. This does kettle does exactly that. It is a good price and does what it is supposed to, what more can you want? Yes, it's plastic. Yes, it's white. No, it's not pushing the frontiers of modern art. If you want something modern and fashionable to fit in with a designer kitchen, this obviously is not the kettle for you. Feel free to make a trip to John Lewis and pay £60 upwards something that's bright purple which unnecessary lights and shiny bits on it. Personally I can think of better things to spend money on. If you just want something cheap and straight forward to boil water then this will do you nicely! I have never had any issues with it at all.
