We purchased this kettle after we had two more expensive kettles blow up on us within a year!

We decided on this kettle has it was only £4 in Tesco and we figured if it lasted a few months it would have done better than more expensive kettles we have had and at £4 it was worth the gamble.

Its a basic kettle, clear panel to show how much is holds, it claims to hold 6 mugs however we must have extra large mugs as we can only fill 4 with it.

It takes about 2 minutes to boil enough water for one mug and about 5 minutes if its full...beware of filling it too much though because it does spill over the spout when it is boiling, we have to fill it to the line below the max line to prevent this happening.

With it being plain white it would probably fit in with most kitchens.

At £4 it is ideal if you are on a budget or not bothered about your kettle doing sixteen different jobs, there's nothing wrong with a kettle that is just a kettle. It boils water. Simple.
