McBeer M-Audio Keystation Pro 88: ... got room for a piano but want that feel? Maybe you just want the freedom for MIDI work and need those extra knobs, buttons and faders? M-Audio have pulled all of this out the bag with the Keystation Pro 88. This MIDI controller has 88 full size and hammer weighted action keys. For anyone whos not aware, hammer weighted keys are the equivalent of how a piano feel, compared to many semi weighted keyboards. In my o...

Scottyboy_Peanut Yamaha PSR-450
... are for my money the leaders in the home electronic keyboard market and they have a model for the needs of all from professional musicians down to the home user who just wants to learn how to play keyboard without the drama and expense that goes with the purchase of a real piano. The PSR-450 fits into the entry level section of Yamaha s product range but can be used by anyone. It has 61 full sized keys which is an important consideration when buying a keyboard. Some of the small cheaper entry level keyboards have mini keys that are a scale down version of the keys you would find on a real piano. Maybe it seems ok for a child to play on the mini keys to begin with,...

McBeer M-Audio Oxygen8
... believe this is one keyboard that should find its way into any studio situation. It has only 2 octaves, which means it doesnt take up much space on the table. Its is a very neat and tidy product which is very simple to use also. Although it is only small in size, obviously piano peices can not be played on this keyboard, however if that is needed then a bigger version can be purchased. However personally I have both, using this 2 octave majority of the time. To setup with the computer, its pretty much one cable from the keyboard to the pc. Most computers simply pick it up and after maybe installing a basic update, its ready to use within seconds. It has semi keys ma...

scmk55 Casio CTK-496
... love classical music. I have been playing clarinet since elementary school, and had an appreciation for instrumental music ever since. I decided that I wanted to play a keyboard, so I went out and got one. I found the Casio ctk-496, and due to the price and availability, I bought it. It came with a song book and a book stand for the back of the keyboard, but I had to have my own power adapter. It runs on 8 batteries I think, but they don t last long and are just a waste of time to replace, so I don t suggest that. The keyboard has a lot of great features. For one, it has a lot of different instrumental sounds, so you can always find what you are looking for musically ...
