Firstly, you get plenty of controls: 49-key keyboard (touch sensitive) Pitch bend & Modulation lever (in one, left/right for pitch, push forward for mod.) 9 rotary controls (no click center, however) 18 drum pads (can be used as buttons for MIDI signals, touch sensitive) Crossfader (controls two MIDI parameters 0-127 and 127-0 with one control) 3 general buttons (non-touch sensitive, can be assigned MIDI signals) 9 slider controls Octave +/- buttons Split keyboard function (dual & split possible) Aftertouch button, this can be switched off One rotary controller that can be ... M-Audio Oxygen8 ... The M-Audio Oxygen 8 is a MIDI controller Keyboard. The range is 2 octaves (25 keys). As the Oxygen isn t stricly a keyboard but more of a MIDI controller, it has no onboard sounds, and it has a bunch of buttons and knobs that can be assigned to control a range of MIDI parameters. THE KEYS This is a cheap keyboard, retailing around £50, and not surprisingly the keys feel cheap. They are on springs, and there is no aftertouch. Casio LK-45 AD ... I was 6 my parents decided I was in need of piano lessons and I was duly despatched for lessons. My love of music continued into adulthood but when I eventually left home I never had a place big enough to house a full piano.
