Korg MicroKorg:
... microKORG is one of the best selling synthesizers worldwide and has been used by several electronic bands such as Enter Shikari and Massive Attack. The box simply contains the tiny 2kg microKORG itself, the vocoder microphone, power supply and manual. Users may at first be surprised by exactly how small the product is if they haven t seen it in real life before. It has only 3 octaves, and the keys are reminiscent... Yamaha PSR-270 ... ve had a Yamaha PSR270 keyboard in our house for several years now. There are constantly new versions coming out from Yamaha but at the time of purchase, we (collectively as a family) felt this was our most suitable option. These days it s something you can pick up second hand for just a few quid so it s definitely one to bare in mind for new players who may or may not stick at it. In our family, most of us can play a bit. I m more a guitar man myself but I can play the keyboard and piano to a fair standard. I know enough to tell you that there is a big difference between the two instruments for a start. If you re a piano player, you ll be use to a whole differe... Yamaha PSR-550 ... first thing that i would like to say about this keyboard is the amount of features you get in it is remarkable for the price you can pay for it (buying second hand is also a very good option as it further decreases the price and increases the value of the product). The first noticable feature is the "Music Database" - This allows you to set up the entire keyboard by selecting a song title. A floppy disk driveis integrated and plays and records songs on disk in standard MIDI file format. This keyboard has 61 piano-size touch-sensitive keys for expressive/passionate playing and also a 16-track recording plus editing features. The large, back-lit, multi-color... Stylophone Original Pocket Synthesiser ... other half is a bit nerdy, (well a lot nerdy, but don t tell him I said so), and he loves all things gadgety and retro so when I saw that they had re-released the "Stylophone", I knew I had to get him one for Christmas. (I ended up getting one for a friend too). After he unwrapped it Christmas day, (he LOVED it by the way), I realised just how cool they are and wanted to share with all you lovely people. ~~~*~~~ What is a Stylophone? ~~~*~~~ I expect a lot of you will know exactly what a Stylophone is remembering them from the "first time round" back in the 1960s/70s. Stylophones were made popular by Rolf Harris and David Bowie who used them for s... Read the full review: A blast from the past - even better than wispas! by Donnabroom |
