Stylophone Original Pocket Synthesiser ... other half is a bit nerdy, (well a lot nerdy, but don t tell him I said so), and he loves all things gadgety and retro so when I saw that they had re-released the "Stylophone", I knew I had to get him one for Christmas. (I ended up getting one for a friend too). Technics SX-KN-2600 ... should firstly let you know that I m a competent keyboard / piano player, nothing special but I can play a few tunes and write some half-decent songs. I don t claim to be a master musician or a master songwriter, but I do love sitting down at the keyboard and messing about, working with sounds and arrangements and seeing if I can suddenly "stumble" into a new song (because that s really the best for it sometimes- you can be absently noodling and suddenly find you have an idea for a song- it just builds from there). Yamaha PSR-340 ... it comes to home keyboards, what do consumers look for? Price is probably the first requirement which meets the ticked boxes before performance and feature. Well this was the problem which faced me when in the last year of my undergrad college course I had to buy a piano. This is a long review! The piano in question would have to be digital so that private practise could be undertaken via headphones and if possible to have some degree of touch sensitivity.
