      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Great!

Just like me, i bet that all piano players would kill to have a grand piano to tinker away on! The problem with these things are that they are very expensive to buy, expensive to maintain and not practical in size to move from place to place!

Here is 'Korg's' answer to these problems.....Yes there are a hundred and one digital pianos out there to buy but korg really have put time into making this one unique, they not only produced a sturdy yet light weight feeling piano with weighted keys that looks great but it also sounds good as well!

Unlike most low range pianos that have resorted to a sound that sounds 'similar' to a piano and enough for someone to put up with, korg have directly sampled a real acoustic piano to the finest details to make playing this digital piano a much more warming experience!

Its these tiny attentions to detail that have been forgotten from previous weaker attempts, things like the tail of a sustained note has been kept this time so when you hold a note it would respond as a real piano would, each of the 88 keys have been sampled multiple times at a number of different velocities, so whether you hit a key hard or soft you don't get the same sound as you should expect! These minor adjustments that have been made to this model really do enhance the playing experience!

You are not also just restricted to the classic piano sound with this device either, the inbuilt memory holds sounds such as 12 acoustic and electric pianos plus jazz and church organs, mallet instruments, harpsichord, clarinet, choir, strings and guitar so there is a lot to play with!

The give added essence the piano offers the standard effects such as re verbs and chorus effects as well to shape the sound as you wish.

These great sounding tones are heard through the pianos inbuilt two 10 cm dual-cone speakers matched to a pair of 11W amplifiers so your hearing the exact sound that was sampled whether through the speakers or the available headphones ports.

On the more digital side of the instrument, it features both midi in and out so it can be connected to an external device to trigger other sounds, the possibilities are really endless!

It comes along with the frame stand, sustain pedal and of course power supply so you are all ready to go from opening the box!

For this price it really is a great piece of gear! Would recommend to all who crave for that more realistic sound!
