Superb home recording suite at a quarter of the price of other recording options

The Novation Nio 2/4 is a fantastic bit of kit for anyone who's into home recording.

This really will be the missing piece of the jigsaw for anyone who wants to set up a home studio and create professional sounding tunes. It has a number of inputs including 2 headphone inputs , jack input for guitars, seperate mic input and line in and midi in. it also has midi out and 2 line outs.

With this setup, it means you can plug speakers straight into the back of the unit to here your songs as they're being recorded. All the other inputs/outputs are straightforward and incredibly easy to use.

Even better it has a switch which allows you to use condensor mics and an inbuilt zero latency (this really helps when you start recording!)

The kit will come with an installation cd which takes you through the simple set up, you can then pick and choose what plug ins etc that you want to use. You also comes with a bundle of goddies including an amazing pre-amp effects rack and a whole host of effects/sample bundles. You also get LIVE 6.0 studio which I must say is easily as good as cubase et al. Just be warned. The version of live lite you reciebe only lets you record x4 audio tracks and x4 midi tracks, you'll have to pay a £60 upgrade to get unlimited recordable tracks.

This really is a great bit of kit and will set you back anywhere between £120/150 but it is worth every penny.

Effortless to use, top quality and good value!
