A great keyboard for piano players with an edge

At a certain point in time i was torn between getting a Yamaha motif 8 and a mo8 because they were basically the same in theory except one had less sounds. I wanted to use it in studio so the sounds did not matter so much except the for the pianos. Which of course were lovely. I got it off eBay second hand for 510 pounds. Its a really nice keyboard. The weighted keys play so well. It has great dynamics. Once you connect this beast in stereo it is extremely high quality. It is true that it does not have the same amount of sounds as the motif 8, but the sounds they have stripped down are the not so important ones. Mostly on the synth section. It is extremely user friendly. I spent less than a day with it and i pretty much knew how to use it entirely, from playing pianos to creating 4 part layers with split sections to recording full songs on the sequencer. I would say that this is one of my most favorite keyboards and encourage you to buy it especially if you are torn between motif and mo8. This is the one to go for.
