Yamaha PSR-140:
... a pawn shop in 06 and am so pleased. I bought it to help me with my singing lessons and keeping pitch. It will also help me brush up on my long-ago piano lessons. I like that the LCD screen shows the staff for both bass and treble clef and whereon the note(s) that you are playing, which is so helpful for learning to read or write music. Now getting ready to investigate the MIDI aspect. Cool keyboard, Yamaha!... Read the full review: Sweet interface beginner/intermed keyboard by Mari Dominguez |

Yamaha PSR-3000 ... me. My ear was definitely bent towards modern jazz and improvisation and then in the mid-sixties, I was really getting hooked on the likes of Jimmy Smith (a jazz organist), so I turned my attention to the electric organ. Yamaha Clavinova CVP209 ... bought this keyboard with the intention of being able to experiment with composition. Although highly priced I have found it to be ideal for this and the instrument sounds it produces are increadible. However when playing it as a piano, the touch is poor and unrealistic, and if this is your intention it would be much more advisable to stick to a real piano. However with it being fairly lightweight it is an ideal keyboard for performance with a variety of functions.... Read the full review: Top Keyboard by orchid1988 |

Yamaha PSR-270 ... + basics As we all know (or most of us know) Yamaha are a great make for musical instruments and the PSR-270 isnt an exeption. The keyboard has a very modern look with a great 4x10 cm screen on it, the range of instruments, the range of styles, the range of built in songs the buttons that help you navagate your way round the keyboard and the numeric keypad next to the screen. The keyboard has 36 white keys and 25 black keys. ( I dont know whether this is good because I dont play but it is great for me.) What it looks like As you cant see properly on the picture I have attempted to draw a little of what I like to call letter diagram.... BBBBB ...
