A brilliant all arounder (Apple Keyboard)

Advantages: Lots of features very easy to install

This is the most recent iteration of the Apple keyboard, and in my mind is a big improvement over the one that preceded it.
The new keyboard has a flat key layout much like that currently present on Apple's laptop range. This has the dual advantages of not needing to move your fingers as extremely to push in the keys making typing surprisingly physically stress free on your hands. It also has the advantage that you aren't likely to lose bits of food and dust and assorted other rubbish between keys as you did on the previous models.

From a personal point of view I don't like the new aluminum style as it doesn't look right next to my old white iMac, but it does fit in well with the new metal style iMacs and the rest of the range now Apple seems to have shifted form clean white to industrial metal. Maybe when I can finally afford a new iMac I'll feel less bitter about it!

It's worth noting that the keyboard also has two USB ports built discretely into it which is handly for plugging USB memory pens and the like in, just don't count on them to power external devices as they don't carry a current so won't charge items such as your iPod.

It's a £30 keyboard, which is quite dear as you can get a keyboard for a tenner, but that said you pay money for quality keyboards.

Summary: A solid keyboard all around, very nicely built.
