Advantages: You can work with it on your lap, no wires to tangle.

Disadvantages: It's heavy and needs batteries.

I hope you are sitting comfortably as I'm going to tell you a tale about something beautiful and pure which has an air of grace and perfection like that of a goddess.

The Arched Back Goddess
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
She really is beautiful you know. Her back is arched and she has a solid weight that means you can't just tip her off your lap with a nudge. She stays put where you place her. Her skin is as smooth as the finest matt silk and her buttons are such soft little pads, so gentle to the touch. She is sensitive but not overly so and her style is sublime, dressed in pure white with clear glass-like trimmings to her coat. She has no excess flab, no love handles around her trim figure at all. She is very neat and compact and her bottom is encased in transparency. What a beautiful figure she has.

Do You Fancy Ms Apple?
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Clearly, I'm talking about the lovely white wireless Apple keyboard, truly the most gorgeous and prettiest keyboard you ever did see. I will refer to her as 'she' because she is most definitely not a he.

She is a little bigger and chunkier than most, being 44 cm x 11.5cm and stands 1.5cm deep at front and 2.5cm deep at the back. Her back is arched giving her a lovely side profile. Her underside is white and smooth and here you'll find a little hideaway where she neatly stores her 4 AA batteries, her sole power source. Her compartment opens easily with a small coin. Being battery powered means she has no need for a clumsy tail and she can be moved around to suit her master or mistress (no need to be sexist).

Her built in Bluetooth technology means that she can work at incredible range. If I take her downstairs and press her keys, her messages will still appear onscreen up to 35m away. This can of course prove invaluable if you are in the midst of a very urgent email and are caught short half way though and need to dash to the bathroom, keyboard in hand.

Her insides are just as intriguing as she has a very clever mind which incorporates Adoptive Frequency Hopping software to avoid frequencies used by other wireless devices and networks in her vicinity. She also cleverly features an advanced power management system that automatically switches her to low power modes when she is not in use. She does also have an off button on her bottom.

Playing with her keys is a different experience compared to most of her contemporaries. Her keys are a little bigger than most, clearly labeled with stylish grey letters and figures. They make a subtle clickety sound when pressed and there are some buttons which are located in different places compared to most others. Her @ symbol is located above the number 2 at the top rather than near the return key. Similarly her appley buttons are in slightly different positions which take a little getting used to. You soon find that you can find her special buttons with a little practice.

Ms Appley Keys is not only easy on the eye but she uses very little in the way of battery power. Her 4 batteries last on average 9 months but with moderate use this can be longer. She is easy to wipe clean and retains her purity very well although spilling coffee on her may render her useless.

Ms Keys is also heavier than you might expect. She is rather solid and knows her place. If you place her on a wonky desk she will not slip away, she stays firmly where you put her. If you have weak wrists you may find her a little heavy to lift up and turn on but for most this is no problem at all. She'll also happily sit on your lap and you can slouch back without any restrictions if you so wish.

Obviously she needs to be used with a Mac with Bluetooth technology and she is easily paired with the computer via the SetUp Assistant. She will set you back around £40 so she is not cheap but then she's a classy little thing.

Summary: Stylish wire fire keyboard, great for using on your lap if you like to slouch!

I think my own review sounds dreadfully boring after reading this literary masterpiece!

This review isn't about food and I'm still drooling - one for the Christmas list perhaps! x
