Advantages: Simple to use and set up
Disadvantages: None really
When we think about it one of the most used objects in a lot of our daily lives is the keyboard, and it is because of this it's important to make sure you get one that is comfortable for you. So after many years of use on an old HP keyboard I thought it was time for a new upgrade as the letters were starting to wear of and one of the keys was starting to become temperamental. So onward I went on a mission to find a replacement.
Now to be honest when I was looking for a new keyboard to replace a rather old one for the PC downstairs I picked this one on price rather than any major reason. It was on sale for £10 and with Dell being a trusted brand I went and bought it.
The keyboard was well packaged in it's box and is so easy to set up you don't even need to reset the computer. Just find the USB end and plug it into a USB slot usually at the back of your computer, and that's it all set up.
The Quiet Key bit of the name did interest me but in my opinion I didn't find too much of a difference in noise, though what i've found with 'noisier keyboards' is that you soon blank out the noise anyway, so don't get it solely for the reason you think it's going to be a quiet keyboard. Also don't worry if you don't have a Dell computer, it will still work for many other brands due to it being a USB peripheral.
The plastic shell it is in is easy to clean and it's an easy to maintain keyboard. This keyboard is excellent for basic office use and daily use, and like other Dell keyboards i've had in the past the comfort of the user while using the keyboard has been well thought out.
After having this keyboard for about 2 months now i've still not had any problems with it, and i'd definitely recommend it to others. It's a pleasure to use and a bargain from a trusted brand that is Dell.
Summary: For such a good price in the sale it's a great buy!
