Disadvantages: trouble connecting, batteries don't last, erratic

This device drives me round the bend. That's not to say it's any worse than any others on the market, just that I find the technology of wireless keyboards and mice just doesn't work properly.

Every time you boot the pc you have to press three buttons, one on the receiver and one on the keyboard and mouse - the latter two are underneath the items and need the edge of a fingernail to reach them. Usually you only have to do this once but sometimes it takes more goes.

Once that's all done you then find that while typing away that the keyboard randomly doesn't send the odd letter here and there so you have to go back over everything you type before you send/save it.

The mouse can also be erratic...not realising you've clicked a button or clicking again later than expected.

When the mouse starts flitting around randomly this tells you it's time to change the batteries. This will not operate on cheap batteries and even then they need changing maybe once per month.

lastly the keyboard feels spongy to me - my partner doesn't find that a problem, but I like a good 'click' to my keys.
