When purchasing a new desktop PC I decided to go for a wireless keyboard and mouse this time round. While the Logitech Deluxe 660 Cordless Desktop works very well and the battery life is good, I can't say it really makes much different to having a wired keyboard and mouse when you are sat at your computer desk. The wireless functionality works very well, you simply plug in the USB receiver and place it somewhere on your desk and both the keyboard and mouse will work. I often knock the receiver off the desk without realizing but the wireless still works even then which is great. The keyboard takes AAA batteries and last a very long time, I have only changed them once in the last 2 years. The mouse takes AA batteries and don't last as long as the keyboard but still only need changing every 3-4 months (my PC is used daily). The keyboard is quite a large thing and not much to look at, also it is not very comfortable for people like me who have bad typing habits and use their wrists to lean on. Overall, if wireless is required then this is a cheap option that works very well, if not then just stick to wired technology to save on battery costs.
