... seemed a suitable choice. Being in an office environment and close together, the cordless option is ruled out due to interference from other units. This obviously beats that with a direct connection. Also, talking of connections, this keyboard comes with an adaptor for the PS/2 connector. This enables it to slot straight into any USB port should you wish to connect it that way. Handy to make it compatible with older and newer PC's alike I did like the idea of the built in Wrist rest too. Rather than having an anno...more

The last of my original PC components went to the great mainframe in the sky recently, having done me proud for the last 6 years. It was my old Cherry Windows 95 keyboard, and while it had performed brilliantly, a few of the keys were becoming unresponsive and it was time to upgrade. Having had a Logitech mouse for years and a few Microsoft ones, I decided to pay closer attention to the Logitech keyboard because I preferred the better reliability of the Logitech products over Microsoft. So, I ended up with the Logitech Deluxe Access keyboard which was an entirely reasonable £15. [The features] When you open the box initially, the first ...  Read the complete review

As you may know, if you read my opinion on Car Insurance yesterday, my keyboard gave up on himself. He was no longer producing f’s, which was quite annoying. On the other hand, he was making a point that he needed to be retired, to be fair, he had had a good life, I treated him with respect, but his keys were all worn, some you couldn’t see the letters no more, and he really needed to be retired now. So, today, I went and bought myself a new Keyboard. Before I go on, Sarah, are you happy now that I’m not writing about movies, isn’t this exciting, I’m writing about a keyboard instead! I bet you can’t contain your excitement ...  Read the complete review

With a fresh outlook I return to opinionating and a spring in my step as I decide to write about one of our replacement keyboards here at work. Being in the IT department, It seems like a daunting task replacing 80 PC's since the decision was taken to replace them all. Individual hand built units were chosen and a matching Keyboard and mouse set up meant reviewing and opting for the best possible performance at the best possible price. It was with this concept in mind that we considered Logitech. Reknowned for its price and quality, it seemed the suitable choice. Now Keyboards are keyboards right? Well, sort of. You need to look at several ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Say NO to the M25 look! (248 words)

Smashing keyboard. But out of the box the thing looks like it's been designed by a monkey with a firework crammed up its arse. Logitech decided to provide a wrist rest with the keyboard, and it was a brilliant idea. When it was being used the keyboard was comfortable and quick - no key routing problems here! However, this wrist rest was in a dark grey colour, made from hard plastic and looked like a section of motorway had been built over the front of your new keyboard. Why Logitech?! Anyway, the good news is that it can be removed. Which means that the final product will look something like the piccy you see at the top of this opinion. Anyway, enough of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Logitech Deluxe Access: no logic to it (148 words)

I have a cordless logitech keyboard. One thing I discovered was that whilst typing either on or off line, the Logitech page would suddenly open up. Try as I might I was unable to discover what combination of keys was doing it. In the end I emailed Logitech for advice. I never heard back from them. In the end I had to disable the quick touch keys and it seems to have solved the immediate problem. However I now feel the web, mail and search keys are useless to me. If I re-enable them, I have to put up with a web page that opens up at random, seemingly. The cordless facility is fine, but as it never leaves the desk have noticed little advantage to it. The cordless mouse that ...  Read the complete review
