Logitech G11 Gaming Keyboard
Advantages: Okay for entry level gaming with a few neat features
Disadvantages: needs more time on level of response
Logitech G11 keyboard was a recent purchase I have always been into pc gaming I used to have a Razer keyboard and a boomslang mouse. I decided to purchase this after looking at value for money
Logitech have released the "G" series of gaming peripherals , included in this is the G15 and G11 gaming keyboard.
On first impressions the keyboard is much bigger than your standard keyboard large desks required , with the possibility of not fitting under desk keyboard pull outs.
Every key is backlit when plugged into the USB , each key lights up blue which when playing at night is so much easier , the light setting for the keys have 3 settings including off.
The G11 Has not got the LCD Screen like it's bigger brother the G15. Inplace of the screen is the large easy to use media keys with a centre middle chrome volume control dial and the usual , skip , next back and stop.
Below the screen is the volume settings , usual media keys and four context buttons that are used for the keyboard screen.
A neat feature is the ability to disable the windows key when playing games , I have forgot how many times I have pressed the windows key instead of alt / ctrl.
The feature of the G15 and the G11 is the 18 G keys on the left side of the keyboard these are the easily recordable Macro's , from a simple keystroke or multiple keypresses can be recorded there very easy to configure I have found. They are not limited to gaming for instance you could be wrtiting a simple email , configure it to send , print and archive in one key press thats Neat!.
The overall feal of the keys is responsive not as response as my old razer but still a worthy hardwearing keyboard.
A good gaming keyboard not the best but at the moment a nice new gaming keyboard from Logitech. Summary: A good gaming keyboard worth a try but be warned expensive
the keyboard is priced at £40 - 45 on ebuyer.
When I use a keyboard I expect a soft tactile response from my keys, If you spend a lot of time gaming and working at your desk your , screen , mouse and keyboard isnt a product you should scrimp on. Logitech has always been a brand that backs there guarantees and is a brand that i will always consider firsty for reliability.
Summary: Logitech G is it G for good or G for bad.
