The Logitech G11 Keyboard is a tool of gamers; it was created for and tested for games. With a RRP tag of £40, it can knock you back a bit but that's what you expect to pay for quality gaming gear.

It has a total of 54 programmable macros from 18 G keys, which can be accessed by the m1, m2 and m3 keys, meaning even the most dedicated Role Playing Gamer will find it hard to use every one of them.

This keyboard has more keys then its successor, the G15, which is useful for multiple applications. The multimedia keys are easy to access and the volume wheel is a very useful feature, you can choose the precise level of volume that suits your listening needs.

Another included feature in the keyboard is the game mode slider; this slider has been introduced for gaming sessions. When enabled it disables the Windows button so the start menu doesn't pop up accidently during a vital gun battle.

One of the main selling points of this keyboard is the backlight LED that is installed for late night sessions; this is very useful if you don't want the room light on. You can choose between dim and bright light as well, if it distracts your eyes.

My main concern with this keyboard is the reliability of it, I had one for just over two months and one day it just powered down all of a sudden and now has become redundant, although Logitech do it cover it for a warranty. It can be quite annoying if you don't have a back up keyboard.

Summary: Overall it is great if you are a regular gamer, G15 without the LCD Screen
