I brought this keypad, over a year ago, because it was relatively cheap and it is much bigger than the laptop keypad.
You get what you pay for - the keypads are extremely noisy. They are even more noisy than my laptops keypad. This is very inconvenient. At night, or if someone is watching television, I am asked to stop making noise - noise which the keypad makes. DESPITE what the description states, the keyboard is NOT "whisper-quiet". It's actually very noisy.
The keypad is quite large and it has all the keypads you need. This is great because the laptop is "very spacy" - unlike a laptops key pad which is squashed together. It makes typing a much more easier task and with the keyboard I can place it ANYWHERE. For example, I can place it on the table or on my lap. It makes typing much more easier and a better experience.
The keyboard has two "pieces" at the back, which elevate the keyboard and allow it to stand. This broke a couple of weeks after purchasing it. This is frustrating - it's evident that the material it was made of was quite cheap and not durable. Thus a word of warning, be gentle and attempt to be careful with the back of the keyboard.
What is great about the keyboard is that thus far none of the keypads have gone stiff, like some laptops/keyboards are prone to. So you can type as hard or fast you like - the keypads are great, although your fingers can hurt if typing for a long time. I believe that this is because of the plastic. This, however, can obviously be remedied if you wear gloves or do not type for a long time.
The keyboard overall seems quite durable. I say "quite durable" because my keyboard has never dropped, but it has suffered a little hardship. For example, it has been harshly placed on the table (a little banging), or food/a little drink has gone on the keyboard and yet it has survived. But I have never dropped a whole glass of water/drink; it was a very little liquid that entered the keyboard.
Overall, this is a great purchase - it is quite cheap and has all the functions that a good keyboard should.
I have had this keyboard for around 3 months now.
- Easy to touch type on
- Nice typing noise - pretty quiet yet satisfying.
- Large shallow buttons make it easier to type fast without making mistakes
- Compact size (fits well on my desk)
- It works
- Mat surface texture already worn off the J and space keys.
- Gloss effect on sides of buttons makes dust & crumbs show up.
- Looks cheap
- Just a bit boring
- Hard to clean due to key layout,
- Tapered keys encourage crumbs to fall into the gaps
It's not a bad keyboard, it seems as though although aesthetically boring and cheap looking, that it would function well for a long time. However after just a few months, keys wearing, and its already messy appearance make it less appealing.
I would say if you're on a budget, Logitech products are easy to use, well thought out and do tend to last. However if you can afford it - get a better model higher as in time it will look worn out and tired.
I use my laptop for the most part of the day. However, I have not been able to get used to the laptop keyboard as the keys seem too small and bunched up together. I abosultely hate this because I would consider myself to be quite a fast typed and small keys = lots of typing mistakes.
So I decided to buy a separate key board for my laptop as constantly using my desktop keyboard would be impractical.
I went on Amazon to find a decent keyboard for a budget price. After searching for a while i decided purely on the basis of price and design to buy this Logitech keyboard.
The design is pretty much as low profile as you can get as it is all black with white/grey printed keys
(all CAPITALS). I like the simplicity of the design as it has a sense of class and smartness.
I also am very delighted with the weight and size of this keyboard as I was honestly expecting a bulky/big keyboard.
The typing is very quite and reliable as the response and sensitivity is great. Logitech did not compromise on this aspect. I HATE KEYBOARDS THAT MAKE A LOUD "CLIC-A-TI-CLAC" SOUND". Luckily this one does not :-)
After owning this keyboard for 2 years I can honestly say this keyboard has survived a few orange juice spillages thanks to easy cleaning and the spill resistant design. This product is slim as well as durable.
I am writing this review using the logitech keyboard k120. It is the keyboard I use everyday, the ones they have in some of the computer rooms here at college.
This is a good keyboard, better than the one I have at home, and as it is probably the best I have ever used I thought that today I would write a review about it.
The keyboard is black in colour, the design is shown in the picture provided by dooyoo. You can see from the picture that the shape on the bottom of the keyboard curves in slightly. Overall I think the look and design is quite stylish, the sides are shinier than the rest of the keyboard. I know it isn't anything breaktaking or amazing but you wouldn't want a keyboard that was too over the top, you wouldn't want something with too much colour or detail on it. So as far as the style goes this one looks really good in my opinion, I really think that logitech has got the look of this right.
The colours on the keys themselves are a white-silver colour. There is a tab on the top of the keyboard that lights up, for example when you press Caps Lock, so that you know whether it is turned on or not.
The keyboard is extremely responsive, as I press the keys now the letters appear on the screen immediately. I am a very fast typer and this keyboard always keeps up with me. Sometimes the one I have at home takes small pauses between my fingers hitting the keys and the letters appearing on screen, but with this keyboard this has never happened.
The keyboard sits well on the table, does not make a loud noise even if you are a really hard typist and press hard when you type. This one does not have any flaps on the bottom that let you lean it upwards slightly, however I do not think this is needed.
The keyboard is reasonably priced in most places, I would pay around £20 for this as I think it is worth that price. Overall I would recommend it.
