The tiny Logitech Unifying receiver stays in your laptop. There's no need to unplug it when you move around, so there's less worry of it being broken or lost. And you can easily add a Unifying-compatible mouse to the same receiver
You'll enjoy comfortable, quiet typing thanks to the low-profile keys that barely make a sound, and standard layout with full-size F-keys and number pad
I originally purchased this keyboard as I was fed up with the amount of cables and wires I had coming out of my PC for various reasons. I now use it with my laptop because I often link it to my TV for looking at pictures and videos or streaming films. The wireless keyboard means I can close my laptop into standby mode and save the battery life whilst still being able to completely control it.
Once you have plugged the receiver into your laptop it is available to use immediately. There is no software to install which makes it incredibly easy. The keyboard is a standard size so you have all the buttons you would expect and they are as quiet as it says they are. The manufacturer says you can keep the receiver in whilst moving about but this is not practical for my because it wont fit in my laptop case. However because you just plug in and go it is not an issue to take it in or out.
Since I have purchased it, 6 months ago, it has hardly ever dropped out whilst I have been using it and I have only just had to change the batteries. If you use it on a regular basis I don't think the batteries will ever last the expected 15 months but I am more than happy with 6 months.
At around £17 this is a great wireless keyboard that will do everything you expect it to.
