Logitech Cordless Desktop EX 110 ... am now on my second cordless keyboard in as many months. The good news is that the Logitech Cordless Desktop EX110 is the good guy, not the villain of the piece. I ve been building a Media Centre PC, i.e. using a freebie desktop base unit that I d come by for services rendered* as the donor system, hiding it behind my Panasonic panel TV. (*Don t even ask) Why? Well partly just because I can and know how to, and partly because, now equipped with a TV capable of acting as a PC monitor, either via its HDMI or VGA inputs, I can now watch catch-up TV like BBC iPlayer or 4-On-Demand via a full-sized 37" 16:9 screen rather than huddle round a more normal PC. ... Logitech Cordless Number Pad for Notebooks ... a case which is good to protect it from scratches etc... I have been utterly impressed by its ease of use and the several shortcut buttons along the top (internet, Excel and calculator). The sides are rubberised for easy gripage and so can be used in a presentation when standing up plus for when you lean back on your chair to punch in some numbers. The only real grumble is for some reason Logitech have decided in their wisdom to have the batteries facing the same way so as to cause confusion and several attempts at replacing the batteries. Logitech EasyCall Desktop ... be honest, I didn t know if I d get along with this keyboard. Time however has proven it to be an easy and convienient tool to use. Simple one touch buttons for access to your default music player and of course buttons associated with internet calling. The speaker phone is a really useful tool too which has it s own volume, and talk/hang up buttons. The feel of the keys is that of a positive sensation with no mis-hit keys other than my poor typing skills. I suppose you can say a standard size qwerty keyboard which normally I have trouble with my sausage fingers. Installation was a breeze with little difficulty in setting up.
