On the left hand side you'll find a gadgets tab where you can zoom in and out easily and just above that you'll find a home, email, phone, music, photos and files tabs. I however don't tend to make use of these because if you've been using computers for a while like I have, finding the programmes using the mouse is second nature to me. Above the usual F keys you'll find the entertainment keys which consist of volume chan...more

Crowned Review Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 6000 V2: Fast, Responsive, Accurate... Brilliant (2279 words)

When you think of computer shopping you always assume the hardest part is going to be choosing the computer itself then of course when you've chosen your computer all the extras begin to pile up and you end up spending possibly hundreds of pounds more on computer equipment ranging from webcams, speakers, headphones, usb cables, memory sticks... the list is endless but of course after the computer the most essential things to buy are the mouse and keyboard. One would think that choosing a keyboard would be simple, almost like a one size fits all but of course that isn't the case and you'll probably find yourself extensively surfing the net to find one that ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review It's ok, but I'll stick to Logitech next time thanks (451 words)

It was a sad day when my old reliable Logitech keyboard finally gave up the ghost. So sad that I thought I'd treat myself to a decent replacement. Now I've got a fancy Logitech mouse, so once I got this product home I pretty much disgarded the slightly tacky and cheap feeling mouse that microsoft provided. Therefore I will just review the keyboard. The keyboard is very nicely shaped, and definitely was designed with ergonomics in mind. It's cordless, and appears to work reliably from about 10 feet away from the little pod like receiver. Not brilliant, but not bad either. It has a vast array of extra features, such as a calculator button, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 6000 V2: One keyboard to rule them all (493 words)

I was fed up with my optical mouse, sometimes wokring, sometimes not, on my desk environment, I therefore decided I needed a laser mouse, to ensure it would work. I wasn't too keen on wired keyboards so I wanted wireless. I settled on this Keyboard and Mouse desktop set. I have been ever since pleased. The keys are nicely laid out, very easy to get a comfy typing position in. The F Keys need the FLock pressed to turn them on, unfortunately this needs to be done every time the computer is started, otherwise these keys cover other common tasks, like UNdo, Save, Spell, Print, etc. There are also some multimedia buttons, 2 abover the number ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A good alternative to wires (424 words)
by - written on 25/08/09 (Very useful, 20 readings)
Rating:

There are two componants of this set, themouse and the keyboard. Overall I am happy with the mouse, but not so much with the keyboard. Both pieces have a sleek black and silver design and are nice on the eye. They are both wireles, obviously(!) which is good because wires can often get in the way, especially with mice as it can prevent you from moving it easily whereyou want it to go. The mouse is lovely. It glides smoothly and have not had any real problems with it. It is perfectl designed to fit almost exactly to your hand which makes using it much more comfortable to use, especially if you have a deskjob and are usingit all day. As well as the two usual ...  Read the complete review
