Wired Keyboard 500: Processing/Quality: To be honest, i have only used about 5/6 keyboards, so i can only compare its quality against them; although i would put it processing/quality the highest amongst all that i have encountered. This keyboard is not the best for processing and quality, but how can you complain; when it only sets you back $14.99! Reliability: I have used the Microsoft 500 keyboard for the last year and a half, and the only problem i have ever had with it, was one key becoming slightly hard to press; which only took 30 seconds to repair ( take the key off, clean the area around the key and reattach the key). Apple Keyboard ... latest Apple keyboard is of top quality and is a joy to type with. It is available in two versions: the wired one and the wireless one. Personally, I have the wired one as it is considerably cheaper and the wire is almost hidden anyway so I feel having a wireless one is a waste of money and probably more likely to suffer from problems with the computer recognising the keyboard. The keyboard has an aluminium base so is of excellent strong quality and is very reliable. You can either get a compact Apple keyboard, which lacks the numeric pad or you can get one with the numeric pad for the same price. Logitech Deluxe 250 ... is similar to the keyboard in the Logitech Wireless Desktop 1500 set, except the keyboard has a wire of course and no media buttons. It still has the new Windows Vista style Windows keys. And the glossy black end caps. It s a really nice keyboard to use and I bought it for £7 from eBuyer in January 2008 but you can probably get it for a bit less than that now as it s been out a while. Since I have the 1500 set I knew this would be a good keyboard and is perfect if you don t need to move the keyboard or aren t worried about the lack of media buttons.
