Firstly, the keyboard is a huge improvement over the previous one. The MX5500 keys are soft to press and very responsive. That s not to say it s any worse than any others on the market, just that I find the technology of wireless keyboards and mice just doesn t work properly. Every time you boot the pc you have to press three buttons, one on the receiver and one on the keyboard and mouse - the latter two are underneath the items and need the edge of a fingernail to reach them. Usually you only have to do this once but sometimes it takes more goes. Once that s all done you then find that while typing away that the keyboard randomly doesn t send the odd letter here and there so you have to go back over everything you type before you send/save it.
