Bumbo Baby Seat ... Bumbo baby seat is a must for any baby for a couple of months, it is a moulded seat that looks a little like a potty that baby can sit in to help them learn to sit up on their own or for children who like to sit up for longer - it is tiring work all that sitting up and this helps our little darlings to sit up and watch the world for as long as they like a it takes a lot of the trouble out of it! I found it especially useful at the early stages of weening as my baby was too small to be fully supported by a high chair and not big enough to sit unaided, this gave her a little independence and allowed me to have both hands to concentrate on the food going into her mouth ... Bumbo Baby Seat ... had never seen these before until picking my son up from nursery one afternoon to find him sitting in one. After seeing them i decided it would be definaltey worth having one at home. I bought mine from Mothercare. They come in a variety of colours, got mine in a turquoise blue. They arent heavy so makes them easy to move around the home and for when visiting family (which i always take as it gives him somewhere to sit and play.) They are very simple in design with two leg holes and a back to support the baby. They say they are suitable from when the baby can support their own head so around 2/3 months. Bumbo Baby Seat ... son is now nearly two years old now and I bought one of these baby seats when he was about 5 months and used it for about 7 months until he was a year old. The idea of this seat if very simple and the price is pretty reasonable. The great thing I found about the seat in these months was that the back provided stability for the baby s back and the way the seat is designed meant he couldn t move or climb out of it so stayed still, making it easier for feeding and also to leave him there while you get something else done which is great. The seat seemed very comfortable for him and he never really complained sitting in it as he did sometimes in his highchair. The disadvant...
