Advantages: unbreakable, doesn't leak - hurrah, reasonable price & replacable lids

Disadvantages: lids may be a bit hard to take off

any parent looking to buy a cup/beaker for their little one I highly recommend this one or for the slightly older toddler the 9oz without handles. same as Tommee Tippee sip-n-seal
setting it apart from all other cups/beakers - Avent magic -leaks and the new Tommee Tippe Easiflow cup which has started to leak and my 15 month old has already managed to break off one of the handles. See my review of Easiflow.

Anyway these don't leak and even my "precious little angel" cannot break the handles of these - got dents in door to prove it.

Newer lids can be a bit hard to take off - my mum never could get it open so when the drink finished when she baby sat that was it - poor mite when thirsty for rest of nite :-) but I think that's a plus if Granma can't open it neither can my son - a result!!

I'll say again best cup and whn the lids get all mucky or chewed down you can buy replacements at reasonable price £2.99 for pack of two as replacement & even mix & match them.
I'm well pleased with mine.
