All the best for a baby even when mummy is not around (Avent Isis Breast Pump)
Member Name: kamilciaservus
Advantages: Can be used as electric as well as manual Disadvantages: A bit loud when used as electric I purchased Avent Isis Electric Breast Pump in a set when I visited baby show in London while I was still pregnant. I must say it was well worth it to buy it there that way as it was way cheaper than buying it in the shop. I was so shocked when I saw a retail price of over £80. I read somewhere that you should not express milk for the first six weeks after giving birth, not sure why but the article said something about confusing the baby between nipple and a teats of a bottle. So I was waiting but I could not wait to use my new "toy" it seemed so exciting. Finally i could not resist and started to express after third week. And I must say it did not do any harm me or my little daughter. First time I used it as a electric pump it was quite strange feeling, the pump is a bit loud which I did not expect. But other than that it is very comfortable and easy to use. There is also wireless accessory attached where you can put battery in and use it wherever. It is very convenient that it can also be used as a manual pump. Very satisfying product. Summary: Very convenient and simple design which helps when you have a little one to look after |
