Advantages: Easy to use, simple and reasonably priced

Disadvantages: None really

Whilst in the hospital I managed to breastfeed but after a couple of sleepless nights at home, I decided to move onto formula. I didn't have a clue what to do but luckily, I the day I decided to change, my midwife popped around. She explained that it was no longer recommended to make my bottles up and store in the fridge (like my mum did with me) but to make the bottles on demand. Whilst this was ok when I was in the house, I needed a solution for when I was out and about so a friend recommended I buy a milk dispenser rather than carting a tin of formula around with me. As I was already using Avent, I decided to buy their milk dispenser.

I brought mine from Boots and it cost me around £4, it is also available from most supermarkets, chemist and baby specialists for around £5 now.

The milk dispenser is pale blue in colour and measure around 5cm (height) by 10cm (width), which is ideal as it didn't take up much room in my change bag. The main lid can be removed completely, to reveal 3 individual compartments where you can pop your milk powder in. The main lid has a small hole on (which also has a lid on) so when you are ready to make a bottle, just pour the contents of one of the compartments into the bottle.

The only downside of the product is once washed, you have to make sure it is completely dry before you put you powder in otherwise it will stick inside.

Overall, I would recommend this product and give 5 out of 5 stars. It made my life a lot easier when out on my travels, I didn't have to worry about carting around a large tin of milk powder, or measuring spoonfuls of powder.

Thanks for reading.

Summary: Easy to use, simple and reasonably priced item which helps take the hassle out of feeding on the go
