As a Mum who swore she would never use a dummy i caved into these on day 3 of having a very unsettled baby who wanted to suckle constantly. I do want to make it clear my son is now 8 months and hasnt used a dummy sinse he was 3 months so i am by no way converted to using a dummy for longterm but i did find they made my son so much calmer and happier so for me they were such an amazing investment! I found until he could see properly he did need the comfort of sucking something without needing minl from me so these just solved the problem. I found them easy to keep clean- just follow the clear instructions about steralising. I found i needed 6 on the go at the one time as he did often drop them after a good chew. This was a brand i trusted and for me they made my baby more settled and these necessary trip to supermarkets etc much more pleasant without screaming - they even helped him sleep at times! However I am not a dummy fan for later as i have read they may stunt speech development.
