A nonsense product - just go for a beaker instead (Avent Soft Spout Trainer)

Advantages: Your baby will take to it easily

Disadvantages: You may not be able to get them on to beakers and cups as easily

Personally I'm not sure this works. I bought this for my first child. He had the avent bottles and I thought that it seemed like a good way to wean him on to a beaker. He did like it but maybe a bit too much - he didn't want to have a beaker after having this and I think it would have been far easier to have just gave him a beaker rather than trying this (in between method).
It's also nice to be getting away from the look of a bottle as your child is getting older and I'm afraid that if they get stuck with this being their favourite type of beaker (and they do always have a favourite beaker) you end up with a toddler looking like he is drinking out of a babies bottle!)
With my second I gave her a beaker straight away rather than using these bits to convert and like all children she was fine with it.

Summary: Sorry but I wouldn't bother
