Advantages: Easy and quick and great value for money

Disadvantages: Not cheap.

This was a panic purchase by my mum while I was still in hospital. We hadn't given any thought to sterilisors as I was planning to breastfeed. This however did not go to plan so we settled on this half through desperation and half because it had money off at the time.
I can however say that it has been a lifesaver and is an incredibly easy system to use.
It is a three tier system with the teats sitting at the bottom, the bottles stacking on top and a basket above them for the lids, dummies and anything else you want to sterilise. The rings stack on a pole in the middle.
All the sterliser requires to do its job is 3oz of water and to be plugged into the mains for 8 minutes. It also comes with sachets of citric acid to de-scale it every 4 weeks but you can also use lemon juice.
It also has an extra basket so you can put things like dummies through the dishwasher.
It is not the cheapest one on the market and lots of the microwave ones are cheaper but having used a travel microwave one I much prefer this as I was always burning my fingers on the microwave version as it takes an age to cool down.
It is definatley made my life much easier as the "bottle run" only takes about ten minutes each morning and it's definitely been worth the money.

Summary: A definate buy.
