I bought the Avent Steam Steriliser prior to the birth of my daughter Lauren because I had purchase all the bottles and bottle warmer in the Avent range. when I got my daughter home from the hospital she wouldn't, or couldn't suck from the Avent silicone teats. Panic, panic!! She had been using the disposable latex teats in the hospital and I guess this was the reason why. So when we had to buy a new set of Boots bottles the next day, would they fit in the steriliser? The answer was yes, not only did it take them it took six rather than the four Avent bottles.

It's dead easy to use, just wash the bottles, add 60ml of water to the bottom of the steriliser and switch on. It takes about nine minutes although it always seems like alot longer when you are waiting! I put the bottle rack and holder in my dishwasher as they get abit grubby and the steriliser does need descaling every now and again. This seems to be quite expensive but it is so much easier and quicker than the cold water sterilising. I would recommend this steamer to you whether you have Avent bottles or not.
