These Avent bottles are the only ones I will use for my child. I'v tried several other brands with my first baby, but the teats were either too small too slow or too difficult to clean. The bottles are larger and fatter then most, as are the teats which are easy to clean and come in a variety of flows depending on the age of your child. The avent steraliser is the perfect fit for the bottles and you can even get an avent bottle washer brush which is specifically designed to clean these bottle so you can clean the teats properely and the inside of the bottles. They are pretty robust and our set has seen me through feeding two children so they last a long time and are worth investing in. Teats, Im told, need to be changed every three months but ours seem to have lasted pretty well.
