First I would like to say that any breastfeeding mum - breast pads are an absolute essential it is just up to you whether you decide on disposable or washable. Personally I prefer washable - I use disposable after the birth up until I have got the energy to do the washing regularly and after that use the washables. They are far cheaper in the long run and are also eco friendly.
As far as the avent washable breast pads go they are good but not amazing. They do the job for moderate leakage but I find if there is a lot of milk coming out I need to change them very quickly. They are also on the smallish side and I do not find they shape around the breast in your bra that well. On the plus side they are pretty but I think I would rather go for a better absorbency than attractiveness.
Overall not bad they wash well and look good and provide moderate absorbency.
