	Avent Microwave Steriliser ... young my mum had a brother and I m old enough to remember she seemed to spend a lot of time boiling bottle tops, bottles, dummies, etc etc. This seemed to involve some fairly unpleasant chemicals and the potential scalding problem so when we had our first child last year we were delighted to find out that technology had moved on and the need for the huge steamers are now long gone. 	Avent Bottle Warmer ... looking paraphernalia. The difficulty is, without guidance, they all look good and its hard to discern what will be useful in the long run and what will otherwise gather dust. Fortunately, having managed to get our daughter through her first four years, we were able to apply some of the valuable lessons we learned to our new born son, and one item we decided we could do without was the Avent Express Babyfood and Bottle Warmer. 	Avent Microwave Steriliser ... bit of kit (in my opinion). We tried 2 different sterilisers with our son, both Tommee Tippee (the electric one which broke after a couple of weeks, but thats for a different review!) and the mircrowave one, so when I found out I was preganant with baby 2 we decided to go down the microwave steriliser route again (we had to buy a new one as had given the Tommee Tippee one away). I found the Avent Microwave Steriliser in Asda at a reduced price and as I have heard good things about Avent decided it would be a good buy, especially as it came with 2 bottles (1x9oz 1x4oz) 2 teats (1x0m+ and 1x 1m+) 1x measuring jug, 1x tongs and 1x soother (0-3m).
