These sleeping bags are a great way to keep a restless baby coverd up all night and also helps to reduce the risk of cot death in younger children by stopping them from being able to shuffle under the covers. These are a great design. they have prestards on the sholders and a zip all around the edge. These are avalable in most baby shops, we have brought them from Ethel Austins and Mothercare. Whilst I was pregnant and buying all the things I would need for my baby as I was looking at the different types of bedding I saw baby sleeping bags. I planned to swaddle my baby as a newborn then use the sleeping bags later on so I bought a few small flat sheets and blankets then a couple of larger ones too. I bought one 0-6 months sleeping bag too. The baby sleeping bags are lovely items for your baby to sleep in as they keep them cosy all night. I bought these while I was pregnant, as I was terrified of baby bedding! I was convinced I would either wrap my child up too much and cause him to overheat or use too little bedding and he would be freezing cold! As it turned out I did try normal bedding first, so am able to compare this to sleeping bags. When my son was born I realised the sleeping bags I had bought were too heavy for use in our house in the summer (we had bought 2.5 tog, but our bedroom temperature was between 21 and 24 most nights, even with the window open!) so I decided to try out blankets and sheets.
