Advantages: stops baby getting cold

Disadvantages: none

These sleeping bags are a great way to keep a restless baby coverd up all night and also helps to reduce the risk of cot death in younger children by stopping them from being able to shuffle under the covers.

These are a great design. they have prestards on the sholders and a zip all around the edge.

These are avalable in most baby shops, we have brought them from Ethel Austins and Mothercare.

They go up in ages
newborn
0 to 3 months
3 to 6 months
6 to 12 months
12 to 18 months
2 to 3 years
3 to 4 years
5 to 6 years.

Ethel Austins only go up to 12 to 18 months and start in price for a new born at £10 going up to £25

Mothercare do the design shown above in the picture from newborn to 2 to 3 years randing from £20 to £35 depending on size and character obviously the disney ones are more expensive than the plain ones.

From 2 to 3 years up to 5 to 6 years Mothercare sells these with legs at the bottom to allow the children to walk about in them.

These are great we have used them with both our children.

Summary: better than blankets.
