I firstly brought two grow bags in newborn but they were huge so for the first 4 weeks i had to use sheets so i used to wrap my daughter up in the sheet like a mummy, that tight under her arms there was no way this could work its way up and i used to put a bottonm sheet on the cot but nothing else. My daughter was diagnosed at birth with a clicky hip and had to have a pelvic harness fitted at 4 weeks old for 3 months so that blew my plans for th...more

When i first found out i was pregnant i brought lots of bedding, fitted botton sheets for my cot, cotton top sheets for my cot, fleecy blankets, woolen blankets, 2 shawls and i dont realy know what possesed me to but a cot quilt. I thought all of these were necessities untill i found the baby sleeping bags which i fell in love with the idea of streight away, i hadnt realy thought about this before but what if my baby got its head under the blankets and suffocated? The most precious thing in a parent’s life is their newborn baby. The second most precious thing in their lives is sleep. Nothing really prepares you for the levels of sleep deprivation that is experienced in the first few weeks of a newborns life. When you are going through the routine of waking several times a night, not having reached the stage of developing any kind of ‘routine’ you can really feel like it’s never going to end. The ultimate goal and the ‘promised land’ of your baby ‘sleeping through’ feel an immeasurable distance away. However, those early weeks can be short lived and some babies do sleep through from an early age. The question is how can ...  Read the complete review

remember when I was pregnant with my daughter reading about these bags that had been brought onto the market. They were like a baby sleeping bag which ensured that baby would be kept warm enough to sleep without the need for blankets! I decided it was a gimmick and never bothered. When my nephew was born my sister in law used them and I used to laugh at my nephew in it, but she always said that he slept in it no problem. When my son was about 10 weeks he kept wakening during the night as he liked to be swaddled and he kept kicking the covers off. We decided to go to John Lewis and have a look at these sleeping bags! We found them in the ...  Read the complete review

* I did type in capitals, but for some reason they are not appearing on here. Sorry! My son Craig has always been a good sleeper at night. Up until a few weeks ago that is. Now he has mastered the art of wriggling out of his bed covers, he has grown accustomed to waking up in the wee hours after tossing his covers off and crawling to the other end of his cot resulting in getting cold. I can tell you now that those normally tolerable Waah waah?s sound a lot worst at 2am so a quick fix was needed in order for the whole Warden household to sleep soundly once again with no more rude awakenings. I had heard a few friends of mine harping on about these ...  Read the complete review

I started using a Baby Sleeping bag or Snuggler for my son when he was 6 weeks old - the only reason I didn't start earlier was because I didn't have one available. He was only that old when we first took him to France to show him off to my side of the family. When we got there, we received a few baby gifts and amongst them was the Sleeping Bag. I had never seen one before, I was intrigued, but definitely interested in using it. My son was not sleeping through, nor was I expecting it from him at six weeks, but I guess that one of the reasons he didn't could have been due to the fact that he was kicking his covers away and waking up, more because he was ...  Read the complete review
