Babytec Food and Bottle Warmer

I was desparate to find a bottle warmer that I could use in the car so that I could feed my baby as soon as we reached our destination, particularly on our longer journeys. The Babytech warmer seemed to be the answer to my prayers, but I have to admit that I am a little disappointed. The idea is that it simply plugs into the cigarette lighter of your car, and heats the bottle in about 15 minutes. I'm afraid that this is not the case. I came across this ingenious little gadget by accident while looking for the nappies in Mothercare. Quite simply, you use it to warm up your baby's milk or food while in the car. For many weeks I had been taking flasks of hot water and jugs out with me until I found this wonderful invention. You wrap it around the bottle of milk or can/jar of baby food, plug it in to the cigarette lighter and 15 minutes later it will be warm and ready to serve. What was the most useless item you bought when you had your first child? I am sure that we have all bought products thinking that they will be useful, and then either never used them, or they have been a complete waste of time! I foolishly bought a bottle warmer that you plug into your car cigarette lighter for £8.00 from Tesco Direct. I bought it as we used to travel about a lot in the car, and my daughter was a frequent feeder, so thought this would be the ideal solution for warming her bottles on car journeys.
