Advantages: Easy to keep clean

Disadvantages: Big and clumpsy

The Beanstalk Delta highchair is for children of 6 month and older. It is perfect if you want something to put your baby in while you do the dishes or cleaning as well as feeding and entertaining your child. It is easy to keep clean and has straps that will keep the child secure at all times. The highchair is a basic model with an unmovable tray which is quite big, but that is not a disadvantage. I do wish that the tray could be movable for the times your child is not eating. The highchair is unfortunately not foldable and in my opinion this is a serious disadvantage. Because of its size (H 99, W 65, D 78 cm) and bulk, storing it is not easy. The only way of storing it is to dismantle it and then put it back together again when it is needed. It has a washable cover and weighs 6 kilos. The legs of the highchair are very steady but have a wide space between them, so placing the chair close to the dinner table might be difficult.

It is one of the cheaper models and you can find it at Argos for about £30. There are cheaper models which are made from plastic like this highchair isn't. It has no cushion but there is room for one depending on the size of your child. The space between the tray and the seat is rather big so using the straps is recommended. Due to the fact that the chair is for children from 6 months and up to 2-3 years, the seat is quite big. So leaving children unattended, even when using the straps, should always be avoided. This applies to everything that has to do with young children but a warning should always be made.

The most positive thing about this product is that it has a washable cover, so when my daughter is making a big mess I simply just take a cloth and wipe it off. Another thing is the straps, though they don't have soft padding, they are definitely useful and needed.

The most negative about the Beanstalk Delta highchair is the size, only because it is not foldable. Also the wideness of the legs, which makes the highchair take up a lot of space. But if you don't mind that storage might be difficult and you have a lot of space at home, then I think you should consider this highchair from Beanstalk. You will, on the other hand, find better products, depending on what you are looking for in a highchair, but then you will have to pay a bit more money. Despite all this, I do think you get a decent highchair for the money you pay.

Summary: A good highchair for the money you pay for it
