Secondly, the solution splashed onto my clothes, no matter how careful you are, you just can't help it splashing on you, thus, ruining your clothes by leaving big bleached marks . Thirdly, the solution wrecked a lot of bottles and teats, so I had to replace them. And finally, the cost of the solution soon adds up! I was using the Milton's solution, which I was buying a bottle of fortnightly. Oh yes, the cost adds up! I got so fed up ...more

As far as sterilisers go, I definitely would recommend any parent to invest in a steam or microwave steriliser, instead of a chemical one. I made the mistake of buying this steriliser, as it was a lot cheaper to buy that the steam one, so I thought, well as long as it sterilises the bottles I'm not that bothered. Big mistake!! I'm not choosy about what products I select, I buy them first then worry later. But this is one product that made me a happy shopper. I've used sterilisers before, the usual cylindrical shape, where bottles fall over and you have to fuss around propping them up carefully and slotting any other bits and bobs alongside. The Boots steriliser is a piece of wonderfully simple yet effectice design. It is a rectangular shape with curved bays for 6 bottles, which keeps them upright and organised. The float is also a teat holder, so no more fishing about to find teats that are trapped between bottles. Keeping them handy for when you need them. ...  Read the complete review
