I bought 2 bumbo seats for my twin boys when they were 5months old and could support their heads and were beginning to sit up a little unaided. At first I thought it was a brilliant idea, but only for about a month or so. As they got older they got bigger, and chunkier, their legs started getting stuck and had red marks on them which didn't impress me one little bit. Also the back of the seat didnt really come up high enough they couldnt lean or anything, I suppose what I'm trying to say is they didn't seem very comfortable and I didnt sit them in them for long because of this. They only had to move a bit when they were about 7months and the front of the seat would lift up off the floor which left my heart in my mouth, what if I'd have turned away for just a second and one of them had fallen out. To be honest Id only reccomend you buy it when you babies are young, I dont think its suitable really from 6/7months onwards when you babies start getting stronger doing things. Alot of money for something thats not going to last very long.

The bumbo seats are designed so they actually look like pottys. I'm not sure what they are made of but its a soft but at the same time hard material which does actually feel like it will be comfy for your little one.

Summary: An OK seat, only for the young
